Diagnostic Fee - $75
Payable even if you do not proceed with your repair quote. This is also conveniently the first hours' labour. Funny that!
Labour (Regular) $75 - (Rush Jobs) - $120
Per hour. Note, rush turnarounds are dependent on parts availability & repair complexity. Generally complete within less than 24 hours. We will try our absolute hardest to make your gig happen & squeeze you in after hours!
Call Out - $120 - $75ph thereafter
Missed a dropoff time or forgot that broken CDJ last minute? Call out fee covers transport costs & packing, unpacking tools and spares etc. Maximum transit time of 30 minutes each way. Minimum 1 hour per call out. It's always worth calling to assess if a longer time is required and/or the feasability of on-site repairs.
Pickup/Delivery Fee - $50
We do the legwork for you. Minimum 2 items per booking. Maximum travel time 30 minutes each way.
Pioneer DJ
Since opening our services to the Pioneer DJ family of units we have repaired almost every common (and less common) issue on these units, including problems which other repair shops couldn't fix or have damaged during service. We work on everything from old school CDJ1000s all the way up to brand new 3000s and DJM V10s for our clients, hire departments, clubs and bars alike.
The home user may need nothing more than the occasional cue/play button replacement and lubrication of the jog wheel with no other complaints for many years. Of course units which see the hard life of bush doofs and dirty house parties may need a little love every now and then which is why we offer a
General Assessment and Service from $75
which involves

A full diagnostic service and check of all unit functionality including output, LINK, all switches and modes

Internal inspection, removal of boards in areas where liquid damage can cause issues, and cleaning where required

Jogwheel lubrication and cleaning of all physical switches where dirt and dust can build up

Any user specified fault/s which can be addressed within the first hour* (not including cost of parts)

Technics
We love crate digging as much as you, and any digger needs their turntables to be in tip top shape. Our team of techs have worked on countless Technics SL-12xx units over the years, we carry a significant amount of parts on hand and offer all the common services including:

Relub-ification of any stuck 40 year old parts including height adjuster, centre spindle, lift mechanism & pop-up light

Flushing, relubrication and calibration of the pitch control mechanism with genuine Deoxit Faderlube and FaderGREASE, as well as removal of center lock on MK2 units & other classic Technics pitch hackery on request

Reflow and refresh of mainboard contacts, replacement of dodgy components,

Replacement of original Technics RCA cables which are worn or broken with premium Mogami Puroflex OFC RCA cables and adjustment of clamping mechanism to suit, improving cable longevity
